How to Get Involved
Due to COVID-19, volunteering will be different this year. We will not be collecting and sorting food on Friday evening. We are committed to having a safe event for both our volunteers and the families we serve.
As we get closer, there will be sign-ups available for families or social bubble groups that can volunteer together safely. Schedules will be created to allow safe sorting of toys and distribution food and toys. Masks will be required of anyone who is volunteering.
This year we will be requiring the signing of a for every volunteer.
Starting the second week of November, barrels and bins will be located throughout East County for donations of non-perishable food and new toys. BRCC also takes cash donations throughout the year to help purchase turkeys and toys. Donations can be made via or via check to BRCC, PO Box 845, Brentwood CA 94513.
Barrels are available for businesses. Please contact Steve Padgett at 925-550-9980 to see if a barrel can be set-up at your location. Barrels are delivered during the first week of November and collected a week prior to distribution. Arrangements can be made to empty overflowing barrels in the interim.
